When Designing Metal Signs, Don't Forget to Consider Size!

Because Size Really Matters

Big, little...does the size of your metal sign really matter? Some would argue the bigger, the better, but that's not always the case for your small business. Your signage is a tool to compliment your company's marketing efforts, not over shadow them. Having the ability to select a customized metal sign allows you the chance to choose the size and shape that is the best fit for your organization!

The most durable of signs, aluminum signs, are also one of the most flexible. And for aluminum metal yard signs and metal business signs mounted to the front of a building, you can hand pick the perfect size without losing the quality and friendly familiarity of your message. Made from the same long lasting and high quality materials, the only significant difference will lie in their size.

Why should yard signs and building signs be different sizes?

A typical metal yard sign is similar in size to the real estate signs you often see driving down the street....18" in height and 24" in width. These smaller signs are visible because you are generally 3 to 5 feet away from them when passing. But pretend you're putting one of these smaller signs on the outside wall of your 10 foot tall business building and imagine if you can see it as clearly as you could if it were in the yard. There's a bit of difference, isn't there?

Luckily this problem can be easily taken care of with just a few clicks of the mouse. By changing a few dimensions to a small sign design, you can reach a wider range of people without losing the look and feel of your sign. It will simply be on a larger scale. And even better news is that there's no real limit to how big your metal sign can be!

The largest single panel of aluminum produced anywhere is 6' x 12', but this is not the largest your aluminum sign can be. All this means is that 6' x 12' is the largest, seamless sheet of aluminum available on the market. If you need a bigger sign, two panels can be worked together, so you can get any size, look and feel you wish.

Bigger isn't always better, so make sure you don't fall for this trap.  Instead, walk away with a prized size for your metal sign!
